It was a Saturday morning. Little 4 years old Ayaan woke up at 6 AM, much before his usual waking time. He looked around, his mother and his elder brother were sleeping.
He shouted "Mummy we will miss the flight. Wake Up. Wake Up"
It was a big day for him. He couldn't sleep well last night. He was travelling to USA today with his mother and brother. He was excited. He had not met and hugged his father for a long time, almost 11 months. Work took his father to USA.

It was hard for him initially, when he was only 3 years old, to understand why his father isn't coming back from office. He used to see his friends, his cousins and every other child play in the arms of their father, go to parks & places with their father. But why was his father only visible on the small screen of phone, was beyond his understanding.
He once saw an Aladdin cartoon where the genie came out of the lamp when the lamp was rubbed. This left an impression on him. He started to rub the phone, hoping that his father would also come out. He failed. But he never gave up trying.
But, today was a different day. His genie was finally coming out of the mobile. He was flying to meet his dad.
"Mummy, get ready. Wake up" shouted Ayaan again and started to jump on the bed. He woke up his brother, who was also quick to started jumping on the bed with Ayaan. Their mother could not stop laughing, seeing the happiness on her kids's face. She had borne the pain of seeing her children away from their father for a long time, apart from herself being away from her beloved husband.
Today she was happy too. A tear came out of her eyes. It was the tear of joy. She wiped it off quickly with a big smile on her face, jumped out of the bed and shouted "Let's get ready kids. We are going to meet Daddy today". Kids jumped off the bed with happiness.
Ayaan was travelling by the plane for the first time. He quickly grabbed the window seat and shouted "Come on fly fast. I want to meet daddy". He held the phone tightly with which he used to talk to his father. This phone was precious to him. At home, he would never leave this phone. Because he thought, his father lived in there.
Long flight was tiring and the little guy was quick to fall asleep. Every time he woke up he had only was question "Aren't we there yet?"
Pilot announced to fasten the seat belts for the landing. His mother explained him that they have reached and that the plane will land in few minutes.
Ayaan became so happy. He gave a big, very big smile to his mom. He started to clap out of joy. His smile turned into laughter. "Daddy I am coming" He shouted in joy. Soon his laughter made him cry. "Mummy, I can't believe I am meeting Daddy" bursting into tears he put his head on his mother's lap. He made his mother and brother cry too.
She hugged him with his head still in her laps. Then taking his face in her hands, she wiped his tears and said "Are you going to meet your Daddy with this ugly crying face". This turned his mood and Ayaan started to smile again.
The plane landed. After completing all the formalities they came out of the airport. Ayaan was quick to spot his father standing and waiting for them. He started running towards him. With a big smile on his face ,his father bent down on his knees and opened his arms. Ayaan went straight into his arms. He hugged his father tightly.
He kept hugging him for a long, very long time. He kissed him and started walking towards his mother. He took the phone out of his pocket, gave it to his mother and said "You can keep it mom. I no more need it. My daddy is out of it now"
Tender expression of silent love of kids over mobile phones.
